Philanthropy-Charity
Since 2007 the PLUS Foundation has granted $220,300, and supported thirty-seven volunteer events. This has enabled direct involvement of 500 PLUS member volunteers.
The most tangible and effective giving often happens at a local level. The PLUS Foundation adopted a unique grass roots philanthropic strategy – members choose, members give, members engage. Through Chapter Charity initiatives the Foundation supports the efforts of PLUS Chapters throughout the United States and Canada, enabling members to make connections with each other, and make a difference in their communities at the same time.
Chapter Charity Grants & Volunteer Initiatives 2011: The Foundation continues its tradition of giving and promoting volunteerism into the fourth year of this highly successful program.
